Les; yes it is a great place for solar. I am amazed how much power we have been getting from one single 100watt panel. Even in a cloudy time I still get a little over an amp. When its in direct sun its been putting out 5-5.7 amps. In our area I've never produced more than about 4.7 in direct sun and only for moments. In cloudy weather about 0.1 -0.4 depending how thick clouds are...
