Wow! I can't believe that it's been ten and a half years since our Montana experience. H called it the "Trip from Hell".
(Read some of our 2008 posts.) Yes, we worked an awful lot on that trip. And we got to know some towns and libraries better than we intended. But that's one of the hazards of being self-employed: you sometimes have to take your work with you.
For the record, we were able to take a few trips in that ten-year span of time, and they were very enjoyable. We saw lots and lots of beautiful countryside and came home rested, restored, and ready to take on the mortgage world again.
But today, we are newly retired and beginning the "next chapter". We are leaving the tent in the box and headed out in our "rig" to see the country. So we decided to resurrect this old blog, and we hope you enjoy it.
We'll share our travel experiences with you and might even include some thoughts on what this next chapter means to us. Of course, we'll share many of H's great landscape photos.
If you'd like to stay up to date with us, you can subscribe to the blog with your email address and receive notifications when new articles are posted. Please feel free to leave comments, too. We are still thinking of all of you even when we're away or on the road.
Till next time, Have Trailer and Camera will Travel!
