We thought we'd give you a "tour" of what we'll be living in for the next few weeks. After much looking, deliberation, and decision-making, we bought a 2016 Jayco White Hawk 27DSLR. Our living space is about 27' (30.5' tongue to rear bumper) and has a Dining Slide and Rear Living.
Our "living room" works great when we have company.
(Remember, you can always click on the photo to see a larger image.)
This is my tiny kitchen and our dining area.
When you look through the bathroom, you can see our bedroom.
The quilt and pillows were made by me. The trailer came with a "deluxe" residential mattress; but after a few trips, we knew it wasn't going to work for us. So on the recommendation from our friends Ron and Becky, we went to the North America Mattress Corp in Clackamas, OR to have a mattress made. While there, they helped us "build" our mattress through a series of adding or subtracting different densities of foam. You can learn more about the mattress company here. We love the mattress and are considering having them build us another one when we're ready to replace the mattress at home.
So this ends the tour of our home-away-from-home. We're very comfortable. It's not the fanciest RV on the road, but I still feel like we're traveling in style.
